Membership begins upon payment of dues to the association.  The membership period is 1 year, concluding 1 year past the payment of the dues to join the association.

1.Continuing Education:  Continuing education courses for initial and renewal of licensing.  Courses are available year round for free at local chapter meetings and at the Annual TAMP Convention. Members receive reduced fees on convention registration, continuing education classes and chapter meetings.

2. Political Action Committee:  The purpose of the PAC is to encourage the support of legislation, which meets the widely different needs of entrepreneurship in the mortgage industry.

3. Publications – Annual Membership Directory, e-Newsletters, and more:  Access to other brokers and affiliates all over the state for networking and information, plus the monthly magazine with current information and articles on national and state issues.

Annual Dues

How to Join NAMB - Residential Members

NAMB is a professional association, so its roster is comprised of individual members, not mortgage companies. We are proud to have reciprocal membership agreements with our affiliated state associations across the country. This means that our residential mortgage professional members join by first contacting their local affiliated state association. Your state and national dues are collected as a single fee by the state. Then, the national portion is forwarded to us. These working relationships mean added benefits to our members through extensive networking opportunities with other industry professionals in your area.

MEMBERSHIP TYPES AND PRICES:

Platinum ($149 (If joining or renewing prior to 12/31/2012) or $175 (if joining after 12/31/2012) - includes National, State & Local dues) - any individual licensed as a mortgage originator in Texas who agrees to comply with the Association's code of ethics and standards of professional practice. Professional members may vote and serve on committees.

AFFILIATE (($149 (If joining or renewing prior to 12/31/2012) or $175 (if joining after 12/31/2012) for additional company members - includes National, State & Local dues) any individual whose business is other than that of a licensed mortgage broker or loan officer. Affiliate Membership is designed for wholesale lenders, title companies, appraisal companies or other staff personnel of a company who have an interest in supporting mortgage brokers in general and the association in particular. A person may not join at the additional company member rate unless there is a $175 member with a current membership.

ASSOCIATE - LICENSED MORTGAGE ORIGINATOR ($75 (if you join or renew prior to 12/31/2012), $99 (if after 12/31/2012) - includes National, State & Local dues) any individuals licensed as mortgage originators in Texas who agree to comply with the Association`s code of ethics and standards of professional practice. Associate members are not entitled to vote, but may serve on committees.

PROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEE ($75 (if you join or renew prior to 12/31/2012), $99 (if after 12/31/2012) employees of Professional Members in Texas who agree to comply with the Association's code of ethics and standards of professional practice. These members are not entitled to vote, but may serve on committees.
